Who will I see for my online health care appointment?
You will see an online Nurse Practitioner, a healthcare professional who provides medical consultations and advice through digital platforms. This approach to healthcare allows patients to access health expertise from the comfort of their own home, eliminating the need for in-person visits. Online health care providers, including Nurse Practitioners can diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, provide follow-up care, and even prescribe medications when necessary. With the growing demand for convenient and accessible healthcare, virtual consultations have become an integral part of modern medical practice. This method ensures that patients receive timely care, particularly in remote areas where healthcare resources may be limited. Online healthcare services are designed to complement traditional in-person visits, offering flexible options for medical care.

As part of this process, we may need to see you for an in-person assessment if required, depending on the form being completed. The first step in having a disability application completed, is to book an initial "discovery" appointment with our NP. This appointment with provide a preliminary review of your health and function and medical history, to determine if completing a disability application is the right decision for you. For disability applications to be completed, we require medical documents to review, such as your medical chart (this can be accomplished by faxing or emailing via our encrypted email service).
