At this time, we do not direct bill health insurance companies. Some private health insurance plans cover the cost of private NP services - please check with your insurance provider for more information.
At Atlantic House Calls, we follow provinicial and national standards in regards to providing virtual health care. Refills or prescriptions for controlled substances are not provided. Also, some health concerns cannot be adequately assessed via an online appointment. Therefore, the Nurse Practitioner will notify you if an in person assessment or emergency services are requirred.
At Atlantic House Calls, our clinicians will provide respectful, trauma informed, culturally sensitive care. We want to provide the best care possible, that is grounded in evidenced based practice guidelines and recommendations. We DO NOT tolerate abusive, aggressive behavior or language towards our staff. We reserve the right to end an appointment if this occurs and ban clients for accessing our services in the future.
